You could try to bend it back, heatsink fins bend easily. Use some small needle nose pliers around cloth (to protect the HS finish).

I like seeing what all you guys did with your cases, they look great. I need to do something with mine, at least some decent cable management

Brian MP5T looks like a beast! lol

Got my "Scythe Mine Rev.B Heatsink" and happy with noise and heat levels..

Have left the 100 mm fan in and temps are nice for me...

Celsius talking... Hovering around the 33c. mark with just surfing and other light stuff happening...

might diconnect the fan tommorrow and see what noise and heat is like with no fan

is there a replacement utility i can use instead of easytune 5? i HATE that utility, it's so ugly and slow :\

    EDIT:
by the way, my temps are 28C for CPU idle, 33-35C under load, HDD's at 30C under normal usage, system at 40C.

Do you underclock it or something? That's very low, especially for a passive cooler.

22 degrees c is 71.6 F....it's impossible for your CPU to be running at exactly ambient, so either the room your rig is in is at 65 or lower or you are full of beans.

I have the house at 21 Deg C. The Vent is directly below my computer desk..

It's very possible. It's called "Wind Chill" man...

Air passing over a 0.6 Kg Heat sink is gonna have that effect.

Even if you don't believe it, you should still get one. It's awesome..

I'm still having a hard time believing it. Your CPU and heat sink would have to be dissipating all the heat it generated almost instantaneously. It's called "Physics" man.

Yeah, it's impossible to have a CPU below ambient without some sort of phase change (this includes evaporative setups).

    Temp sensors lying as usual

    900 Case Wire Management

Poo Or Not... Updated the BIOS and the temp is reading higher but no load is still 25 Deg C.

Spent the day adjusting the computer for a new CPU and a much longer GPU.. 8800GTX OC2

    Each Front Fan is Variable.

    All HDD are reversed.

Southbrige Cooler Clocked to make room..

I love how clean it is and the third fan makes the front look..

    Nice and sanitary inside too.

Thanks, Basically this thread caused me to drill and grind my case today..

    I am getting an E6750 1333 2.66 Intel Core2 and a BFG 8800 GTX OC2 on Monday.

I knew it would not fit in the space with the fan holder in the middle.

I think that Hard disks look awesome when they are 180, but what a pain in the ass. Totally worth the effort, I built the SATA wires and "Manipulated" Most of the back panel to fit everything.

I think overkill is the way everything should be. I plan to see what sort of numbers I can post on 3dMark shortly with some OC.

The fans in the front were replaced with the Thermaltake Smart Fans..

If you have never seen them in action, OMFG. Take any fan that you have ever seen and double it's speed. They are stupidly loud wide open, but the controllers bring them right down to a whisper. Basically, I'm trying to show that with a bit of thought you can get a lower, sustained stable temperature without water...

There are over 37 LED lights in this case.. not counting the ones in the fans..

    That's a lot of LEDs.

Well if you are into grinding and cutting I would recommend you make holes in the mobo tray to route your cabling and make it pretty much disappear.

RE temps...I am sure there are many aircooling solutions that rival LCing...at stock speeds...

Right now I get a CPU temp of 13 but that's complete BS. You have to look at the Core temps. And right now those are about 28 idle. And thats WITH active cooling. A TT Big Typ 120 VX @ 1600RPM.

Try looking for the Core temps

The SATA cables go behind the wall.

    The HDD cables also.

This is the guy with the LED lights..

Thanks for your input. I don't really see this case as a passive only case, It has fans. I think it will do just fine with the E6750.

The harddrives that are reversed, how do you avoid the wires being hit on by the fan? You managed to make it avoid it?

[Edit] Oh yeah, how long is the SATA cables too? I have 6 inches, and 8 inches I got from FrozenCPU. But how long is your cables, Brian?

I'm running Six 24" SATA cables.. The 90 Deg bend helps a lot.

    http://cgi.ebay.com/Clear-24-SATA-II...QQcmdZViewItem

Also, when you reverse the drive, it only fits into 2 holes, not 4, the drive sticks out a bit more which makes more room for the HDD wires.

I just drilled a new hole for the two (Each) that had no hole.
