Here is a shot of the back plate and insulation. The card has been running at approx -30c off and on for two or three days with no condensation problems.

why is there no single stage build with one of these evaps and a quad core high OC in the thread yet
isn't this where you guys are supposed to show us this evap shine![]()
You can blame that partly on me, as the unit I am having built my LD was all set to go parts wise. Unfortunately the Slovenian customs authority would not let the evaps into the country, so they have to go back to Ron and then he will ship them to me in the UK, I will then forwards them to Slovenia (they prefer EU states in trade). In truth it's something we could not have forseen, Ron has tried his level best to do everything and then some, I could not have asked for more, don't be put off, it's in fact Ron's and Gosemeyer's honesty that has led to waiting for the right build and people to present the evaps in an honest and repeatable manner.

Ah thats abit of a kicker. Any reason given to why they wouldn't let them in??
So how long we looking at till LD has the first working system running
The excuse given to LD by customs was lame, everything was perfect, they used th excuse of LD not having the original shipping papers, basically they did not want to let stuff from the states thru very easily. What happens now is that they were due to ship them back to Ron as of the 26th of this month, then he forwards them to me in the UK, from me back to Slovenia...

Modded the Cryostar evaps to mount 2900XTs as well.
Let us know when you get some numbers!
Better results with new cap tube btw?

After I had some experience overclocking cross-fire at GC thanks to Kinc, first day of LN2 testing with Cyostar Cascade Evaps on 2900s.
26.7K with Elpida DDR3 and Cards at 1160/950. Card 1 will drop down to -69C, I had to slap in quite a few bit of R22 in second stage to prevent first stage from overwhelmed by condensing too much ethylene.
CPU at around FSB/Memory wall, will up multiplier to 12x on next run.
Cryostar works good with these hot-arse cards, albiet with a coper cold plate to by pass shim, and shaving off some of evap housing on the bottom since it hits the PCI slot. So maybe Runny may wanna do a smaller housing or a housing with a smaller bottom.
Nice run Sham, only 130 points behind the WR.
kayl?
he kicks arse why don't you get him to test it
the guy will have it up and running and beat theout of it with a QX6850 no worries pronto
that's just my thoughts
i thought graymole built SS systems too
sham nice CPU man
what sort of temps on evap and CPU die?????? for those clocks
I'd love to test one Ron, I think you know I've got a fairly high accuracy load testing setup, plus quite a bit of inventory. I'll do a nf11fx setup with it basically and when i'm done I can send ya back the lineset if you'd like.

do you base your load figures on load testers NOL?!?
next on testing agenda at my household
sorry for going OT here
no sorry i meant that cpu was ln2ed on that run. I wonder why so many guys like ceramique I've tested many thermal paste under extreme cold, ceramique doesnt work good for me, while my favourite is still Akasa silver based. I did spread evenly as well.. maybe cos my CPU was lapped...
really?
what issue did you encounter with ceramique?
i'm all ears![]()
Yes ya canya cant beat the real thing though noob.
gigabyte mobos read die temps correctly, perfect for comparing blocks
jk
But then again, what my q6600 might put out can be a good bit different then someone elses with a different stepping.
