It's not surprising, nor is the dump the other day. It's not like DPC is a small team or anything. The question is how many more "counter-dumps" they have stacked up on their cupboard shelves. More than likely there are several more. It's almost like they were on a fishing expedition waiting for a team to "bite" so they could play Dump-O-Rama.

DPC hasn't given up #1 in anything without a hard fight and it would be totally out of character for d2ol to be any different. XS is going to have to field more crunchers or gaining #1 isn't going to happen.

There is only a few of us still running d2ol, so you're right, overtaking the cows isn't going to happen. They haven't been showing much lately, and the thought of getting back #1 has been fun.

Yup they haven't been showing much lately, but as the dumps suggest, they have still been crunching! And at least they were kind enough to at least give the team a taste of #1, though the taste could have been a wee bit longer before reality set back in.

edit: And ARS is not far behind. They have some of their horsepower turned off due to the hot weather, but their output has been climbing too in spite of the hot weather.

    Recruiting

I’m new here so I really don’t know anyone and the team I came from doesn’t really do D2OL so is there anyone here that can do some in house recruiting?

You should have gotten a 2160 which is less than 10 Euro more and has a higher multiplier

I know but I want to start from scratch again after more than 2 years with s939 and try to take part in E2140/2160/E4300/E4400 hwbot competition
You can be sure I will go for E2160 and E4400 when I made my first experiences with the new system

    Woo Hoo

Client services are back! Now the cows can continue their graphic display of crunching prowess! Almost like the big fireworks display I saw at the ballgame the other night. Only at the ballgame, the home team won. Alas, here the home team took it in the shorts.

However, I have the volume turned up, and I can't hear the fat lady singing so just maybe there is some hope for the home team???

Finally, I am able to post my message here.
Boy, you do have strict rules concerning posting rights. Only thing that baffles me is that you granted me these priveleges, and not our regular stats poster and tweakers.net frontpage admin. He is a nice guy once you start to know him, err., and his family.
Anyhow, we are sorry to have 1-shotted you with our 519k dump wednesday. It was 1 years worth of flushing on hidden nodes by our entire (sub)'Team Switch' because of our 5th anniversary.
I hope this doesn't demotivate you in trying to get to first place, otherwise if it does, I'll come back to taunt you a second time a.

    Happy crunching.

I'm having to hit the road this morning and will be gone until most likely Saturday sometime, just depends on how the project goes. So I'm shutting down the farm as no one is available to watch the computers and a/c and it's just too hot out to leave things going without a babysitter. Will have net access on the road though so can still stay in touch intermittently.

Today I came home to find a nice surprise waiting...

    My 2 Q6600 G0's, Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R's and Geil DDR2 800 (4Gig) arrived...
Together with the H²O Cooling setup I bought secondhand.

Just need to score me some nice PSU's, couple of HD's and I can start running those nice little quads

Meanwhile, I'm having fun with a Mobile S754 3400+ and DFI Lanparty UT NF3 250Gb I bought just for overclocking fun...
Currently running D²OL on it as a stresstest while doing 2750Mhz @ 1.5v, 42°C stressed in CoreTemp.
Need to get me some nice ram now and try to take her up some more
