    ASUS Prepares X38 Express Motherboard

Not sure if this has be posted or not but thought I'd share. The X38 chipset date looks to have been moved from the end of September to the 9th of September. Also here is a little info on the new board soon to release from Asus, the P5E3 Deluxe. Article here http://www.dailytech.com/article.aspx?newsid=8506

when i mean removable, i mean the actual PIPES itself...

so if i was to WC the NB and SB, i could remove the pipe leading to the MOSFETS and still use the heatsinks on the MOSFETS

I think they could easily make holes for the heatsink and heatpipes that we could insert ourselves that can be fastened with nuts

    anybody feel me on this?

wheres the DDR2 verson :p not ready for DDR3 here either (wayyy too exp3nsive)

Core 2 Duo(Conroe) was based on the Intel Core Duo(Yonah) which was based on the Pentium M(Banias) which was based on the Pentium III(Coppermine).

Core 2 Duo is a Pentium III on meth.

it appears someone took one from another product and just kind of placed it over it... holes don't line up on NB as noted above...

    interesting though...

Not that I'm aware of at this point, (someone chime in if you know) I would assume though that someone would have to make one as so many people are still on the DDR-2 wagon and will be for some time.

weren't all the mobos shown at computex? it's sort of weird how we're all amazed by these old pictures.

and on topic. if asus didn't prepare an x38 mobo, i would be quite pissed.

I don't think the issue is that most people are amazed by the pics but rather now we have an official release date for X38 and Asus shipping boards early next month. Like one poster said, "been waiting anxiously for the p35 craze to pass on by..."

i feel ya bro....i am not a fan of the hp's...but here is my take on it...i bet if you cut the pipe, there wouldn't be any liquid in there, and besides, even if there is...i would think they will work just as well if you just cut the pipe with a tin snip.
