Here there is a shot with DDR3 1800 Super Talent, and Intel achitecture (AMD architecture is more efficient because of memory controller integrated in cpu core):

I think it could be very useful to specify the version to be used for sandra and everest because results from different versions could be not comparable.

Not really tweaked and at reasonable 24/7 voltage (2.31V)

Pushed my memory a bit farther (537.5 mhz @ 5-5-5-15) requires 2.5v though.

    Before I had it at 430 @ 4-4-4-12.

    Not bad for Corsair CM2X1024-6400C4 v 2.1.

But I do think I need some better memory now that I got this new mobo.

    Very interesting score:
    - this is first time I see write bandwidth greater than read bandwidth;
    - very low latency (this is normal), but in general really low bandwidth expecially for L1 and L2 cache compared with other results in this thread.

Yes mate.....I wondered about this also.

The memory is OCZ SOE DDR2-900 (5,5,5,13,2t) but seems to give lower read speeds than the ADATA DDR2-800 (5,5,5,15,2t) I had before.

These dimms even run to 491mhz with 4,4,4,10,2t but give almost exactly the same results as 5,5,5,13,2t with literally only 200MB/s increase on read.

Maybe I've missed a setting somewhere Or perhaps ADATA just make better dimms than OCZ

I think it was not your fault, there is something strange with everest or maybe it is something related to chipset+cpu achitecture because also L1 and L2 bandwidth are really low.

Did you try with another version of Everest?

not as yet no. I'll go try another version now.

    edit

I can't seem to find any older versions of everest......so I grabbed Sandra.....looks about the same here.

Thanks a lot for the test, but with sandra we are not able to understand if memory write bandwidth is greater than memory read bandwidth.

Memory read is the same! (edit: it is very low compared to other results in the same thread with the same architecture)

my write bandwidth can exceed in Everest...

just see my earlier post. also, somethign of interest for you Soldner...

read bandwith with and without C+Q running. and the bigger score is C+Q ON!
