    it is basically it crap mod that makes it look like you are a major seeder, so that other computers will upload data to your computer first.
    Such things are bad for the community.

    Amen to that but these days, people just seem to want to use and use. But I'm glad there are some great seeders, who really carry the community.

    i first used azureus and then moved to utorrent. I now use FlashGet. Just for the convince of having BT capabilities within my download manager. Works good for me.

    utorent is best since it isnt banned for leaking on private trackers, and it dosnt use java like azures, but if ur mac based for some harable reason then azures is the easiest to get running, same for unix and linux, since u dont have to mod it to make it work

    uTorrent = winrar

    Seriously, its small, works well and doesn't run on java, eww....

    Considering how simple it is, I like it better than any of the other torrent clients I've used and thats a LOT of them.

    I only use it because I usually use Usenet and I am afraid of getting an e-mail from Comcast like some of my friends have. I would support the community more if it wasn't for the DMCA being in bed with Comcast and them watching what I upload 24/7. Someday maybe I'll own an OC3 or something an upload 24/7

    uTorrent here as well. Pretty funny that uTorrent is only mentioned once on the first page of this thread (and thats an edit), but it appears to be the favorit by this page. I especially like the webUI since I run uTorrent on a server w/o a monitor.

    I've used uTorrent since the beginning although I have recently switched to Azureus. Now I alternate them every other day. My system is fast enough that I don't notice any problems with Azureus and I like some of its features.

    PeerGuardian2+ Utorrent. Right now I have 6 active torrents, uploading @ 110 kbps and Utorrent+PG2 together are using 10,200 kb of memory at the moment. So both are leaving a very small foot print. I'm waiting on my RMA, so for the time being I'm using a 1700+ Palamino and 512 mb of ram. So the small footprint is a real plus
