    Retail Q6600 G0 on Biostar TP35D2-A7

Here are my test of a Q6600 Retail Bought to http://www.compumsa.be

    Biostar TP35D2-A3 (3 phases power)
    2*1go Crucial ballistix tracer 8500
    Antec True power trio 550w
    Jetway HD 2900 XT
    Classic Watercooling with 15° water
    Cascade made by skirms (~- 100° @ evaporator )

    Watercooling test (15°)

    http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=227044

    1M

    32M

    max fsb

    http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=227056

    Test under Cascade (-100°)

    4 cores

    My 4800 is Corrupt

    http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=227249

    1 core activate

    http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=227247

    Wprime 32M

    super Pi 1M

For max fsb i won 30Mhz (4core) with 110°C less.

I Had not try Stability test on it because 3 Power Phases of the biostar are a little too light for heavy load on quad core

    ++

    Regards

So this means I should cancell my Newegg order for one? I was going to try a quad on it. I'm glad you told what was happening after some benching.

    Thanks

Change the caps , and test The E6850 & Q6600 under LN2 on DFI

I dont know if i can put solid caps in place of the 3 1500µF 16v ? and wich one ? Or switch the solid caps of the biostar TP35D3 deluxe with the TP35D2 ^^

Thanks for sharing Pt1t. Now I see that value 3-phase P35 boards should be enough for some ~3.2GHz C2Q usage
