yea its the crazy card i have..i can do it almost every other run.only does it one of my r9800's, keep running it and will turn loose.not sure what in the card is doing it thou.i can not duplicate it on the second one i have.
has to be the card.i can swap out with a matching card i have with same system and it wont do it.i have reloaded operating systems countless times as well as drivers.
it almost like the card switches off some of the detail when pushed.but it is consistant,not a rare thing at all for the card to do.i am scared now to push it any farther because the next replacement wont do better.i have documented the way to get it to work and have it sitting now.as i am working on some other things.i can almost get it to work in dragothic.not yet thou

Its a bugged score bottom line soory just don't see it when I look at my score of 23,086 I beat him in almost everything except nature were he has a 50+ fps lead HELLO wake up.

Oh its a bug alright. The highest Nature score I've seen with a 9800Pro was a hair over 182 FPS... maccis I think.

To think lower clocks would beat that by 18FPS is ludicrous.

It is a HW bug so it is not a selfmade bug.

How does that make it ok? I understand that if its a HW bug its not a controllable deal but hey I wouldn't be proud of that score and sure wouldn't post it or have it on the orb. Its just not a correct score. Sorry to offend anyone just the way I see things.

but does anyone really think the top score are running without artifacts....wrong all of them do.
this is all i gotten the card to do.instead of most cards that drop scores when artifacts appear i have gotten this one to keep going.it a trick that hasnt been shown yet.i happened apon it.

not that it is a fluke by no means.just the gpu somehow isnt worring why there is artifacts and it keeps running unhendered.like someone holding on to a rope and then suddenly turn loose.

sorry ,i did not mean to affend you in the least.
i can run artifact free up to about 23800 then higher mem gets me artifacts.that's when nature takes off.it give you about 200 points when it spikes.

but the high scores some guys even cut the monitor off.i do sometimes to improve a few points.

bowman, did you ever try the bios from your super 9800 in your other 9800? Maybe it could have something to do with the bios. I know i have tried about every bios i could find on my 9700p and saw big differences.. i added about 1k 2k1 points and higher overclocks from the bios that came with it.
btw, you have 2 97p 03 scores up with a 1 point difference

well not excatly.it isnt that easy.first you have to have already know what your apsolute highers mem clock is in nature and core clock,althou core wont affect it much but the i only got it to start acting like this after i hit 550 core.the core has to be pretty high it seams to work.
hard to explain the fealing it gives.like a engine reved wide open and then you hit the no2.its like that it happens so fast.

but anyways.afte the highest core is reached..say 555core and men actifacting just slightly.
now drop core back to a safe speed...you do not want lockups.i drop mine 5mhz to 549or so.
now the memory say it hits 410 with artifacts in the stream slightly.now.reboot pc and start 3d2001.
run in this order...( i will kill myself if i get stopped giving out the secrets...LOL)
run at one session
dragothic low.
lobby low
lobby high.


then run car high

then dragothic high

then car low/run at least until you get 310 or so.
now nature..
set it back to the safe core speed for me 549
then set the mem slightly higher,until it starts the tear slightly in the begining.
now i have to run nature at least 4 times in a row right behind each other..this heats the circuit somhow.and each time i get more artiffacts but the score will start going up but slightly.
now the screen will after it gets hot enough,start to not artifact but clear out.sorta like you get a lower LOD and you lose the front objects and only see the back ground..like sky and water.looks like the test where you get the colors sweeping over the screen.
now the test is still running but if it does this at the right point where you are say hitting 200fps and then the screen goes funny..not tearing thou.the fps will stay high until the test is finished.
i had run nature one day countless times untill i figured it out.

it is just alot of time to find certain tricks.we all have them.and no one talks about most of them.

and i need to check the bios on this card as i havent.that could be alot to do with it,but it has always had a great nature score even with out this trick ,,look at this one i ran just to show i can push it even harder.

this is one i have that it will run with no articfacts.ran this weeks ago before i learned this trick.see how easy this card runs nature.but the card is only a month old at the most.

i went back and looked my friend.you only over took me in 3 tests out of 7 that isnt how it sounded. but my nature is high but because of the order i run in to get that score i lose car high.but dragothis and lobby is higher because of it.
