P35 was launched June, it's only just August. A lot better than how long it took 680i and 965 DFI boards to appear.

If it ain't watercooled, I don't wanna know.
Dfi P35-T2R is an nice board most definitely for core 2 duo 1333 Fsb G0's,
but i like too see how it
does with quad core G0's to compare vs asus P5K....![]()
when can we expect to see this board in the USA?

got any idea if the 'pipe' thats connected between the 3 sinks can be taken off??
if the NB sink can be taken out alone for a WC block then its game on for me!
I thought DFI was second tier, so they get last dibs on Intel chipsets in bulk behind Asus, Abit, Gigabyte, MSI and Biostar?
I know DFi was considered first tier in AMD, thats why they got their stuff out so quick.
Yes, but P35 has a significantly shorter window for the high end. The much anticipated X38 is just around the corner and promises to sweep through the enthusiast market. And enthusiasts have the attention span of a three year old on Christmas morning, so I predict we won't even remember what P35 was in about a month.
and when will it be launched in europe ?

That didn't happen to 965 though, we don't even have any valid proof of X38 being amazing. I don't doubt it is, being as all intel chipsets are pretty much the best thing to pair with their processors.
I don't care much for dual GPU setups, so bar SLi (if the rumors are true) I want to see what else X38 brings to the table.
There is no such thing as too slow in this market, look at the amount of people who buy boards to replace other ones, sometimes even based on the same chipset. There are people on this forum who have bought 10+ motherboards. If DFI P35 turned out to be better than the other P35 solutions, then no one is going to turn around and say "no thanks, I'm not buying it on the principle of it coming out later than the other boards".
DFI are tiny compared to the likes of Asus and Gigabyte - we should be pleased that there is another company offering the end user more choice.

Shame, no e-SATA ports. That's a big deal killer for me.

xgman, that sounds more like a marketing ploy then anything else.
Sli memory was basically worthless, as you could do better by simply setting everything manually. And for the extreme tunning, it sounds like intel has just made a generalized version of gigabytes utility or abits utility or maybe clockgen. So while it will probably be a good addition for some people I doubt it will really add much over whats already out there.
Not to say x38 doesn't look interesting, but those "extreme" features realy aren't that impressive.

Same here. First I wanted to get the ASUS BF but luckily I was waiting for the normal version without the Fusion Block (which still isn't available although I have been told differently by ASUS) and then discovered this beauty. I hope for the release next week in EU mentioned by someone on this forum is true.![]()
300 dollars is alot for a board that wont even do x8 x8 dual graphic setup, and i wonder why they will put three pci-x slots on there, third for physics is just another bling factor. i love the looks of the board but when x38 is month away i dont think i will have the heart to dish out 300+ tax and shippimg.
