Free-DC stats tip

For anyone wondering who doesn't already have it, here's how you put the WCG stats into your Free-DC signature. (This is the larger number of the 2...the one that is displayed on your "My Grid" page.)

In the WCG line in the Free-DC statstool enter NameXtremeSystems.

For example mine is mcflurry4321XtremeSystems

I know lots of you have figured this out, but if you haven't...here you go

This is also assuming you know how to work with the Free-DC statstool. Ask if you have anymore questions.

I followed that link here as a new wcg xs team cruncher and wasted quite a bit of time and frustration trying to get this to work, only to find out it's not valid anymore..

for anyone reading this thread, ignore these instructions and just use your BOINC WCG user number... do not use usernameXtremeSystems, it does not work anymore.

those are not your wcg grid points in your sig, which is what this thread is explaining.
those are your boinc wcg points in your sig using your boinc id 525399

for example you are on
team IOPANEL.net Israeli Overclockers
emuexport WCG Boinc points = 3,534,480
emuexport WCG Grid points = 24,735,575

this thread is explaining how to use the grid points as your stats, which does not work anymore. acording to Jaco they discontinued it a while ago, this thread is just old info. which probably shouldn't be in the sticky list anymore. it's sending new wcg'ers down an ironious path. I know it frustrated me to d1ck around with it for 2 weeks before finally giving up and posting about it.

do not use the instructions posted in the OP of this thread, it's discontinued and doesn't work. you have to use the boinc ID now.
