    Abit IP35 PRO question.

    Hey do we need to connect the power near the pci-e slot???? mine isnt connected, doesnt seem to be effecting anything, anyone??

    no you dont need to, that is only for mid-range cards with no pci-e connector on them. as well you can run low end cards with out it plugged in.

    the only thing it says about that plug in the IP35 Pro manual (page 1-6): "This connector provides an auxillary power source for devices added on PCI Express slots."

    Nope, i tried it and same OC as before, so i think its not for people who own high end cards, maybe power to pci-e ad-in cards, maybe raid controllers and such?
