The thread is from beginning of June and to be frank not entirely on the mark. Not quite. I'll leave you with that

The original specs were lifted from a COMMENT Posted on June 3rd. They weren't even an article!

    Smells fishy

So, how come everyone is getting excited when nobody knows how reliable that poster is? It could be true (except for that built-in audio and eDRAM) but the source is very debatable.

    The original post.

It's not reliable nor especially believable. You're being toyed with.

It's probably more likely to see an 8900 refresh...

The eDram looks like a dead give away to take this with a grain of salt. But time will tell.

all speculation about these cards so far have been that they will be double the performance of ultras and have over 1tflop of power and this guy claims all of that. and edram sees like a logical step forward so does gddr4 and a 512bit bus and 1024mb of mem. so it seems logical to me. however i am still no going to believe it until it is posted buy a reliable source.

    but we can all dream

The specs are unbelievable... but that's what we said about the 8800GTX and GTS. And their performance proved all our doubts wrong... even after the 2900XT was released. I think Nvidia is in the right track.

as long as its Nvidia, I know I'll be getting it.
I am sick of how hard it is to overclock ATI hardware, and how little control you have over crossfire, and how its implemented into games.

I dont care how long, I'll be waiting for Nvidia for now.

The universe will go on, indifferent to our brief existence, but while we are here we touch not just part of that vastness, but also the lives around us. Life is the gift each of us has been given.
