    Xeon X3230 (2.66GHz Kentsfield) G0 ES testing

    In these days I have this newbie..
    QYPT ES
    L713A290

    after some lapping.. 3.6GHz 1.45v easy stable on air..

    ~1.53v
    3900mhz valid http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=220618
    and 3900mhz 1M

    what board are you using.
    the P35 boards will open that chip up some more and let you do more.

    is intel goign to release a X3230 even?

    thanks, but on air around 3900mhz is the end.. I give 1.60v, and more airflow, but dont helps.. @3950-4000mhz system crash, validation corrupt
    but @3600mhz I could lower that 1.45v i think, and its only idle 45 full load 75C!

    I'm using Asus P5KC, you could see it on the validation

    Does the P5K C and P5K Deluxe clock around the same for quad's?

    I need a new motherboard because my 965p is limited for quad's @ 360 FSB and I don't want to spend too much. The P5K C is about $100 cheaper than the Deluxe version...
