seems like Asus is enabling support for 1333 FSB's on tons of boards, even boards that dont officially support the 1333 FSB.
among this list are most 965 and 975 board, Nvidia 650 and 680i boards, and all P35's.
more boards are coming to the list too, I hear...

the 0608 bios for the p5n32-e SLI plus already has 1333 fsb support. I want penryn support!

I checked recently and Gigabyte are testing the 1333MHz FSB cpu in the Rev1.0 and Rev2.0 versions, I guess same applies to the DS3/DQ6

I have the P5B DLX also, currently debating E6850 (Now that I know its supported) or Q6600 as the end life processor for this board. But if what you say is true then I'll stick it out with my 6400 and wait for Wolfdale, so official word before July 22nd would be great timing for me!

Doesn't have to do with that. If your board clocks to 333mhz and doesn't have the necessary 1333 FSB support your M/B won't boot the 1333 FSB cpu anyway. You need a bios with 1333 FSB support or else you will have to get use to a black screen while you try to boot.hey gryle, welcome to XtremeSystems

wrong, people were running these CPUs in boards before the 1333 supporting BIOS were issued (& in many cases afaik it's just a case of an identifier string, you have to manually setup the BIOS)

I have a new Asus P5K Deluxe coming next week that I want to use with an E6750. According to these links I will need at least the 0404 BIOS for 1333 FSB.

The CPU Support page shows that the E6750 needs the 0311 BIOS.
Any idea why there's a difference between the CPU Support page and the 1333 FSB info?
If this board comes with the 0202 BIOS will I be able to get into the BIOS with the E6750 so I can flash whichever BIOS that I need?
