It was a MB problem. Put together the new motherboad and audio worked right away.

Also, even though this is still the 1.0 revision and not the 1.x that may exist, there were some changes. This MB had F4 instead of F3 and it also had a "Made in Japan" battery instead of "Made in China". Also, there was a foam padding block that came in the package that help to support the heatsink.
