    Arctic-Cooling MX-2

    High Performance Thermal Compound for the Enthusiast
    Turbo MX-2 is a high conductive and low resistance compound for components that require the best thermal dissipation. MX-2 is ideally suited for use in CPU, GPU cooling and other applications between power semiconductor components and heat sinks where high thermal conductivity is critical.

    Main Features:

    * High Thermal Conductivity
    * Low Thermal Resistance
    * Non-Electrical Conductive
    * Non-Capacitive
    * Non-Curing
    * Non-Corrosive
    * No Bleeding
    * Odorless

    No Metal Particles
    Since the MX-2 compound does not contain any metal particles, there are no problems regarding electrical conductivity and capacitance. In contrast to silver and copper compounds, contact with electrical traces, pins, and leads cannot result in any damage.

    Durability
    Curing and bleeding of the compound is not possible. In contrast to metal or silicon pastes, this compound does not show decreasing performance over time, does not need to be reapplied and has a durability of at least 8 years.

    Application:
    CPU, GPU and other applications between power semiconductor components and heat sinks.

    Needs reviews. If it beats out MX-1, though, I'm sold.

    I have been doing comparisons with AS5 and MX-1, and MX-1 is defiantly better after the break in time. I can't wait to get a hold of some MX-2 to do some more testing .

    Also, the fact that there is no cure time means we can get definitive results from the drop in temperatures to share on the forums. It makes one less factor when comparing temperatures.

    I do have a little bit of a problem with MVK's testing methods. They did not allow the thermal paste's to cure the full amount of time. They stated they let it run until temperatures were stable, but many here have expressed that MX-1 has a significant drop after several days time.

    I moved my sink after a LAN and temps went up a bit, but they're good enough. I'll wait for this and hopefully I can find a nice washer for my TRUE's terrible mount.

    hey guys, I have been testing the AS5 and MX-1 both, I cant seem to get the MX-1 well applied because I got way much higher temps then with AS5, how do u guys apply mx-1 on a core 2 duo, line methode like AS5? or just 1 drop in the middle, and how much?

    At least they compared it with MX-1, which as you know is one of the best and the one I'm most interested they compare it to since it's the one I'm currently using.

    yeah a drop don't spread it yourself use the heatsink to spread it and press out all the air. twist a free times. works great.
