Has anyone tried a quad core on this board with good results? I can't get much above 400FSB.

believe as in i recall reading that the new beta has the microcode. i can't remember if it was 613 or 702/703. refer to dfi's site. it should say

Sorry for my ignorance...but will the frontside bus run at 1333 also? or just support for the cpu with 1066?

I've been running a E6750 1333Mhz bus CPU since the original bios came out

Note: Official release of bios 703 killed my overclockability. I flashed back to beta 613 and my overclock is back(3.4ghz @ 1.5v now). I'd guess it's whatever was needed to support the 7950x2 thats killing it.

Turns out its my chip or cooling. 450 X 8 ran 3DMark06 just fine

This dfi is an excellent product. I would suggest it to anyone that running dual core. But i will RMA it only because of this annoying sound

The key is to set Mode3 and Mode2 at the first 2 DRAM Timing options. Without this i couldnt get more than 530 fsb

anyone try a g0 in the p965? fcg says it's a no go currently, and i'm too lazy to check the microcode on the 703 bios. got a e6750 enroute. hoping to use the dfi for a few more weeks until x38 comes out to decide if i should go p35 or x38

No mention of 6f6 either, and we know it works. So is it necessary? And I remember a few bioses I tried didn't have microcode and still worked. So will g0 need this at all? It'd be 6fb right?

edit: oops I'm blind. But 6f7 isn't on the list, and b3's work, so does my point still hold?
