    Nope.

Over the weekend I switched from 2x 320g Seagate RAID0 to a 150gig Raptor and the faster access times certainly has made life quicker.

I also put in 4 1GB sticks of Crucial Ballistic PC2-8000 and they're working at 4-4-4-11 1T at stock speeds. So far so good, but I have a long way to go to see how much they'll last at 1T.

I dont have any screenshots, but OCCT completed 7.5 hours of CPU&RAM (blend) thismorning at 2.7Ghz with QX6700 @ 4-4-4-11 1T

As I have switched back to air cooling, I won't be doing too much CPU overclocking as the Tuniq Tower isn't anywhere near as effective as cooling as it was when on water. I'll certainly play with the FSB however.

    deal

well i can't even do 400mhz 1t stable (memtest show errors), prime fails but super-pi runs all the way without problems......hm uping voltage didn't help so far....and the timings have just very very little affect on the 1t-stability-issue

this is my highest primeclock so far on my dfi
    no matter what i do, i can't get fsb 450 stable :/

    i think so.
if you make sure that you have a proper ram cooling and you don't give too much volt and leave ram drive strength on weak there shouldn't be any problem

I'm having extreme difficulties installing Vista using the 4 DIMM slots. It just crashes with blue screens.

I had this problem when installing with 2 sticks, but that was because I was using 2T in the orang slots.

XP works perfect, and all Memory Diagnostics and memtest testing comes up with no errors.

    Bizarre.

There is a known bug with Installing Vista with more than 3GB of RAM... http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929777

Try removing some RAM, installing Vista, applying the patch, and then reinstalling the rest of your RAM.

ive got 455 x 8 on an E6700 1.51v set in bios on the nb 24/7 stable. i think its really what voltage on the nb is recommended for 24/7, but i know with the strong cpu drive strength i cant set much above 1.5v without it just totally not booting

    @3325MHZ 475 FSB Ram @4-4-4-10-4-21-5-9-7.8us @1:1
    Vcore 1.3815V CPU FSB 1.30V NB 1.5V SB 1.40V HT 1.25 VDimm 2.25V

But can the chipset handle these kind of high frequencies for extended period of time? It passes Prime95 for 10hrs at these settings no problems!

Yeah thats what I had to do in the end, but I wasn't aware it was an official bug.

I decided to stay with XP anyway.

    More specifically...

    Major Reasons of Change:
1.Change control NB voltage bits sequency.
2.Added Specical CPU VID Add control for NF680.
    3.Set NB voltage default value.
4.Patch Vista S3 resume some PCI device function enable.
    5.Added code for PPM disable.
6.Added code for EIST CPU ratio enable, PMM fix in SMM mode.
7.Added code for Thermal Management item.
Also notably, it seems to be a single, unified BIOS release for both C2D and C2Qs, AFAIK.
