best P35 mobo right now

I concur. The instant Abit started with the proprietary chip without any public hooks, I looked elsewhere for enthusiast parts. I liken it to the current M$ Halo2+Vista fiasco.

Which is a pretty wrong comparison as uGuru would still work without Windows unlike Halo2 (or Shadowrun, for that matter) without Vista.

PS: However we must note that uGuru always had Windows drivers so it's nothing like proprietary chip without drivers.

Asus have 2 coming that use a special chip to reconfigure the lanes but they aren't going to be cheap ...
