PWM temps look alright, and nice and even across the board...what do they get up to under load?
The PWM temps are under 50° on full load. So everything is fine I'm testing my memory now with memset, it's only stable @ 1000Mhz. When I set them @ 1010Mhz, I just get a lot of errors (this mem has promos ic's). So the plan is to buy some decent mem (I was thinking of Crucial Ballistix).

thats the code i got when my board finally gave out. i am assuming it died due to the crushed PWM MOSFET. do you have an 8 pin CPU connector plugged in or just 4-pin?
i don't quote in my signature, but best WR ever...

8 pin. Is connected. It has a beep code of 1 long and 3 short. It throws this code even with all components unplugged, including cpu. So looks like its rma time.

    Hi,

I'm new to this forum, anyhow I got myself the Abit AB9 QuadGT mobo and atm I'm running 340 x 10 with a Vcore at 1.35 V.

    Here's my system:

    Mobo: Abit AB9 QuadGT
    CPU: Intel Core Duo E6700 @ 3.4 GHz 340 x 10
    Mem: A-Data PC8000 2 Gb dual channel
    Dcard: Geforce 8800 Ultra
    PSU: Tagan 900 W
    HDD: 3 x Raptor 74 Gb Raid 0
    2 x DVD R/W

    But if a try to run for example 400 x 8 = 3200 XP won't boot..
So I'm having problems upping the fsb over 350-360 even if running mem in 1:1

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    -Toby

You need to increase the voltage on the motherboard to get higher fsb.

    - CPU VTT 1.2v Voltage
    - MCH 1.25v Voltage
    - ICH 1.05v Voltage

You have to play with these. Mine we're all on the highest voltage available, but I use adequate cooling. So just increase them a little and you will get higher fsb.

Is it possible to cool the PWM's with a thermalright hr-09 on this mobo when you cut a piece of the hr-09? anyone tried this yet?

Anyone here experienced the lower multiplier problem:

    http://forum.abit-usa.com/showthread.php?t=124906

When setting the fsb to 400 x 8 (stock multiplier 10x) and rebooting the system once or twice without powering off the fsb is dropped to 266..?

    Hi Guys,
Here are some benchs with a Xeon 3220 ES B3 (stable@3600@1.46V)
CPU is under an Apogee GT waterblock (MoRa + DDC1)
Northbridge is watercooled with a Swiftech MCW30
PWMs are cooled with a HR09 (easy to mod, just need to drill a hole), not really efficient

    CineBench & Spi4M @ 3950 @ 1.60V

    CPU-Z @ 4058 @ 1.65V

    Watercooling

5 months with this QuadGT and still not dead
    Waiting now for IX38-QuadGT

Please keep us informed with your results! Still loving this board after a few months with it. Still rock solid at 500FSB. The only issue I have is with all 4 mem slots populated but that happens to me all the time it seems.

I hit 500FSB once took a scrn shot and ran superpi 1m. I don't know if it is my cpu holding me back or the mobo... The stock NB HSF gets nice and toasty at higher votlages.

    Q6600 G0 @3700@1.47V
    Running 12° less than B3
    PWM running 15° less too

OC in progress, hoping for 3.9@1.55, as its brothers do! (ES L712A835)

Zodden > What issue with 4 sticks? I do so and i just need to raise Vmch and Vdimm
Well my Vmch is already at 1.60v with good cooling so I don't have much room left there. My Vdimm is 2.2V and so I have some room but it worries me the failure rates with D9 and high Mem voltage.

I honestly did not do much testing because this was all for Vista 64 and about a month ago I went back to XP due to the many issues with creative's Vista drivers and 4GB and nvidia driver problems as well. The extra sticks are sitting in the box.

I will give it another go when a good DX10 title comes out which probably won't be for another few months. Then I will see what my limits are with 4 sticks in Vista64. I had no problem up to any 3 sticks in any slot but when I added the 4th I could boot into XP and Vista at 500FSB but orthos would crap out after 10 seconds. When I try again I will try 1.70Vmch and go up to 2.30v on the Vdimm. I think OCZ warranties the sticks up to 2.35v. Maybe I will do the volt mod for Vmch too, I'm not sure yet.

Or maybe by then some good OC 2x2GB sticks will be available and cheaper The one that is good OC mem 2x2 and selling now is like $650 at the egg lol

    My settings for 2*1 Go Crucial PC8000 + 2*512Mo Crucial PC5300
    FSB : 400MHz
    Ratio : 4:5 -> DDR : 500MHZ
    Timings : 4 4 4 12 30 2T
    Vdimm : 2.32V
    Vmch : 1.45V
    Cooling : OCZ RamCooler

I need 0.1V more on Vdimm & Vmch compared to 2 sticks.

With 2*2Go sticks, getting 500MHz c4 is quite impossible :/

    Yup! 9*411 OCCT 30'
And with previous Quad B3, 451 max FSB.
So it should pass 3800 stable, but 3900 will be hard

Unfortunatelly, this mobo won't do far better, so I'll wait X38 to set 8*488
