this brill, adding one to the shopping list![]()
after the PSU i'm planning on watercooling the ball bearings in the fans...
Is the ice in the picture of the evaporator just for effect? Or is it because technically that is under the ice lol
?
nice Ron and Gos
but you need a bit more clearance between evap base and enclosure so it can be used in some s775 motherboards

Dang! Wish that had been available a few months back!
Nice work.![]()
Stick some foam under there if you have one. Had to do this on my Kayl and it worked well. Bit of a temp thing till new foam comes
Man that Evap looks great, keep up the awesome work!

I so want one of these right now!
ok ok Runny!! Just in time for me to dump my crappy GPU evap!! Its now being brute forced to flow mad as the surface area is pathetic, and makes for crappy temps.
So now Cryostar can give me the suction i want![]()
This really falls on myself more than Ron. The results with load tester speak for themselves but we want to see real world results on oc quad and 8800s as that would satisfy the concerns of most. There are 2 that will be put thru there paces in the very near future. If there results confirm our expectations there will be no problem with supply.
It’s just imperative to me to provide the best that I can. Hope you understand.
Eric,
You appreciate the interest.![]()
We sent an evaporator kit to SoddemFX (Tom) he may have it by now. He's going to put it on a 3/8 - 1/2 hp compressor and give it a go on a quad core. Neither Eric or I have a Quad, only a load tester and they don't really tell us exactly what we all want to know. Tom has a deep background in the principle behind phase change. He will be able to give us a better idea of exactly how well the evaporator performs.
We have redesigned the Cryostar to work on GPU. A Sli set will go out to Lardarse (Shamino) on Monday 6/22/07. From what I've heard, Shamino is a pretty good overclocker and should be able to give the Cryostar a run for it's money.
When we get reports back from SoddemFX and Lardarse, we will have real world facts. If results are good - we will be all set to go.
