really nice results, congrats![]()
also one question:
i currently have X2 3800+(65w) and Asus M2R32-MVP motherboard.
my mobo does max 280mhz htt, it sure is crap but its because of
asus crappy bios support. cpu-s multiplier is 10 and it is totally stable
10x280=2800mhz with inbox and 1.45v from bios.
but that 2800mhz isnt enough and im looking for new cpu.
so which ome should i buy? 5200+(65w), 5600+ or 6000+
6000+ should be the best but is it worth that extra money?
i have watercooling and i want to get cpu capable of ~3.3GHz 24/7.
is it too much for 5200+? 13 as a multiplier should be enough but if it
doesnt clock then i dont want to buy it.
So, question is, which CPU dou you guys reccomend and why?
I have decent watercooling and priority is OC![]()
CPU: Intel Core i5 660 @ 4GHz / 1.28v
CPU COOLER: Cooler Master Vortex Plus
MBD: MSI P55-GD65
RAM: 1GB Adata
GFX: ATi Radeon X700Pro 256MB
HDD: Samsung Spinpoint F2 1.5TB
PSU: Thermaltake Toughpower 750W
5200+ should be enough......just be sure to get the 'CZ' model for the F3 stepping. That's probably obvious but it needs to be said as the 5200+ is available in both F2 and F3 flavors.
