    nice review.. how do you think they would do with some corsair xms2 pc2-6400 ddr2 sticks? (2 x 1G sticks) compared to the stock heat spreader...

    Also is there not some kind of TIM applied to the TT spirit or needed to be applied before sticking it onto your ram?

    Results should be comparable ... at least insofar as temperature ratios between stock spreaders, bare IC's and Thermaltake spreaders.

    And yes ... the spreaders use a long thin thermal pad on each side of the aluminum spreader .. and you use thermal compound along the length of the heat pipe. I used some old Vantec thermal paste I had laying around since I figured using conductive AS5 would be risky at best.

    Thanks for the review! I think I'll be buying these for my G-Skill HZ RAM.
