Another site notched on the "not trusted" during this situation. It's amazing how many sites are getting added to the list during this time, no?
The worst thus far was hardware.info claiming the HD2900xt was faster in stalker, and had the 320mb GTS below the 256mb 8600GTS and 8600GT as well.
Seriously, if only VR-Zone would hurry up and do their review with the 7.5's or are they waiting for the 7.6's?

I play games on a rather ancient but still in perfect working order CRT (ViewSonic P225f 22" @ 2048x1536) or a Dell 24" 2405FPW & when I tested my friends 8800GTS 320MB it couldn't cut it compared to just 1 of my GTS 640's. I do intend to replace my older X1900XT's with HD 2900XL's but i'm still waiting for them to be launched.Weird statement, i always see GTS 320 and GTS 640 nearly perform the same

Same gamelist sine more than a year minus outdated game and plus new game. Another wrong assertion?
2 of the most used resolutions in the world seems to be 1024x768 & 1280x1024 & the 320MB & 640MB perform pretty much the same there.
Xbit do change their games a bit much (and don't bench some that ppl would want to see) but they do use a broad selection across several genres.
It's quite obvious the HD2900 is slower than the 8800GTX and GTS 640MB. I don't think we need to continue this discussion about it's performance.
Well, from everything i've seen and the sites i trust HD2900 is faster than 8800GTS so i guess the discussion won't stop
Congrats DilTech on becoming a MOD!!!! Now all the HD2900XT Threads will be deleted or locked and anyone trying to show the HD2900XT been a good video card will be banned....LOL Of course you know I'm joking.
