    Micron DDR3 @ 1920 8-8-7-15 Powered by Asus P5K3-Dlx

    Finished tight timings test last night with gigabyte.
    wanna play high mem-clk today, seems Asus is the only choice.

    2.1v 1600 6-5-5-12, so easy, warming up now

    2.1v 1780 7-7-7-15, it just started.

    ok, now let's play something big
    2.1v 1920 8-8-7-15 with fantastic subtimings, look at the bandwidth, crazy, huh

    same ram on gigabyte I tested yesterday can only do 1800 9-10-9-18

    but funny thing is ... I cannot boot with CL9 on Asus right now, or break 2k is easy

    He meant asus motherboard power, not that it's asus ram.

    Limited by chipset or the ram Victor?

    Yes i 2nd that, cos with i965 1333 strap and 482 1:1 4-4-3-4 superPi 1m is faster LOL, cos it depends only on L2 cache speed with 4mb chips.
    32m them to see real benefit of the giant bandwidth

    400*9=3.6G
    ddr3-1600 6-6-6-15, no timing optimize.
    no tweak OS. ati card.
    pi_32m=14min25sec
    note it's 512m*2 not 1024m*2
