True, but unlike Newegg, MWAVE, ClubIT, ZZF, etc., you can take your product to a BestBuy store anywhere without having to deal wih returning an item, getting an RMA and so on. I almost pull the trigger but as of right now there's no need for me to get another one.

Additional Comments: Lifetime Warranty, one of the few AMD/ATi partners that offer this.

they wont match internet prices, and the item has to be instock at your local Best Buy for CC to price match. and they would have to be running the sale.
even then thats a big difference in price, im sure they will find every excuse possible not to do it. over $100 difference.
100 bucks is a big drop for a video card, if it were a tv or something,,, they'd do it in a snap.
(but i also know BB marks up their goods anywhere from 30%-300% according to a co-worker who used to work there) so one could assume CC does the same

and why would you get another $13 off ? ahhh i see CC does 110% price match.

Well I called the guys at CC to see if they can pricematch from BB and they wont, they say the item from BB doesnt have the PX "A2900XT512PX" like there website and that maybe a different product. I told him its the same and still woudnt pricematch it. I say damn with them i'll wait for newegg to lower their prices.

Yea doing it on the phone is extremely YMMV.

Youve got better chances ordering it and doing it instore.

but they are right if its not the same part number.... they have a huge back door out of it.

you would have to push real hard to get them to understand, since no one who works thedre knows a dan thing, that they are the exact same pieces of hardware and that the Mfg. part numbers can just mean its a different revision. its the same card though, just like all their TV's the westinghouse 32" of 6 months ago isnt the same as the one today. same tv but maybe a slightly different part number.

go to the store.

or just buy it from BB and enjoy the huge difference in price from every other store.

i bought a 1900xtx at micro center on launch day and they were running a 20% sale on select items on the front of their flyer it said all ati cards were included.
when i got there they didn't have any on the sales floor and a salesman told me they were not scanned into the system yet. they had them in the back room and were waiting for the sale to end.
it took three different salesmen but finally i got one to go back and get me one. list price was $650 the cashier tried to weasel out by saying it only applied to "in stock" merchandise. i handed him the flyer and said show me where it says that!
i sent my girlfriend to the car to wait and told the cashier that i was not upset with him in the least (he was just doing his job) but i needed to speak with the store manager.
the store manager saw the cart behind me and the couple of thousand dollars worth of mechandise and immeditely said no problem.

$650 dollar card for $515 plus tax. lol
