    Why do you "want" to get there? Generally I've only used PCI-e frequency increases to get things back in whack, not for performance gains in gfx...I never saw any increase in benchmarks when running beyond 100mhz on my Evga or IN9 32X-MAX boards...

    Not trying to be "right" bro, just curious People on the Evga forums flipped out when one of the last bios releases disabled "link boost" by default. Some guys swore there was a difference but I've never seen it with my particular crop of hardware. Funny thing is you can adjust all this stuff manually and they all still wigged out like something was taken away from them

    increasing PCIe bus speed will give you a boost in "burst" speed for the hard drive, and, i imagine a small gain in VC performance...just to clarify
