Ill tell you this has been looked over many many times and is from what Ive seen, very expensive.

Here are some folks that have asked the same question and got some decent answers.

    OC 1 OC 2 OC 3 OC 4 OC 5

Theres plenty more where those came from.
    Hope it helps some.

i have a question to you though:
    - they use some sort of graphics adapter on laptops; can i get THAT to work on my desktop? or maybe even a dedicated desktop?

LOL thanks for the compliment there, but far from it.

I honestly couldnt say. I dont know laptops all that well personally. I could see how it might be possible, but I doubt it without some serious moddin'.

Why not slap XP Pro on that beast, connect it via ethernet, and use the remote control feature??

That's how I admin my server/second rig... I honestly can't tell if I'm remote sometimes it's so responsive.

No, because it's all in Windows Help :p

It's called Remote Connection (or something like that), NOT the one that allows outside people to connect via an email, but a PC Anywhere type software that's builtin to XP Pro.

I will also say that BOTH PCs have to have XP Pro for it to work.

could you at least tell me what the end result looks like?
while both computers are on, how do you switch from you main rig to your server?
