I'm pretty sick and tired of hearing all of this. The PS3 is losing Sony money??!??!? WHAT?? Since when?!?!

Seriously, yeah it got off to a rough start, but as soon as FFXIII and games like that are released everything will pick right up and HOPEFULLY everyone will STFU.

Ive alrwady predicted that within 3 years, Sony will be purchased and liquidated.

FFXIII wont be their savior.. not to mention, just about every PS3 only title has gone multi-platform.

My cousin does. I actually was impressed with the very small amount of gaming I did on it. No doubt it was helped by the 50in HD TV it was plugged into.

Its a pity he doesn't have it on 24/7 or i'd put Folding@Home on it.

Forgive the total off topic here, but the reason that the Sony cameras aren't doing as well as the performance of the body would indiciate is that

1. they are not called Canon or Nikon
2. The lense selection is limited and not up to spec with Nikon or Canon. People were never inthralled with Minolta lenses and the current selection of Zeis lesnes, while they may be high quality, is very limited. If sony releases a large lineup of high quality Zeis lenses for a decent price, in a couple of years, we may start seeing alot of converts.

All of that said, I have vowed to never buy a sony product again.

You mean - replace the words "online community" with "live", and "screen name" with "gamer tag", adding 14 year olds with microphones, adding meaningless "achievements" to games to increase their poor replay value to add a sense of non-existing competition, and charge monthly/annually for all of the above?

Instead, how about making your gaming account, into an MMO-esc experience, watch movies at your friends house form your ps3, oh yea, and TYPE WITH A USB KEYBOARD

hey, the PS2 wasn't half bad and I'm still enjoy playing SNES games on my friends PSP.

but everything else they make sucks.
