Still no luck at all. POS. I can get to 508mhz fsb but after that it becomes flaky even with memory running at 5,5,5,15 1:1. The memory runs fine at 600mhz at 5,5,5,18@2.35v no problem. Seem like a hardware strap issue.

Still cannot post past ~525MHz FSB even with the CPU on water. Still have only tried 4GB of ram though.

This SOB is going it the trash soon as it keeps on resetting to stock speeds after I restart all of the time.

You mean after a normal restart, or an automatic restart after a bad overclock?
If the later, it wouldn't be able to boot with your messed up settings.
I see that all the time, and that's good.

Anyhow, today I had a complete reset, like when you click on that "load default settings" or whatever it's called in the BIOS, everything was lost. Anyone else seen this before?

The board is dead now as it just keeps on turning on and off now.

Happened also to me......I had to clear CMOS with a screwdriver
The worst CMOS clear method I ever saw in a motherboard

Haven't tried it on other motherboards no. But its not like other FSB walls i've had with other CPUs, it posts most of the time, its just not stable at all.

Hey guys finally I see some "action":

Im on the stock cooler (with a few mods to make it quieter & safer) because my xp-120 didnt fit contrary to this artical:
    http://www.legionhardware.com/document.php?id=643&p=2

This is a random overclock, I didnt want to go mad only having a stock cooler. Can anyone make sence of these temps? I set the bios to alarm over 70'c and I got an alarm when core temp 0.95 went over 70'c. Also in the first overclock I had the voltage options set to AUTO and it bumped the CPU voltage up to 1.4v with a lot higher temperatures.

Ill go for more if the temperature is ok. What do u think?

    Edit 1.38v idle 1.36v load Orthos @3.15Ghz e2160.
Vdroop zero according to speedfan ( it does show movement when vcore set to auto in the first overclock):

is that the highest you were able to take the FSB with that CPU?

So i dropped to 2GB of ram still wasn't able to take it higher than 525MHz FSB, so it likely is a CPU FSB limit.

Sorry Ive not done any suicide shots yet.

No, Im testing the CPU atm; all I have adjusted in the bios is vcore to 1.4v. I wasnt happy with the temperatures at 350fsb x 9 (vcore 1.4v+), since the ambient is cool atm; and its going to get hot for summer. I Set it to 333 x 9, 2:3 memory 500Mhz; 8 hours orthos stable so far.

Tried 400fsb with +0.02 on Mch(northbridge) and +0.02 on Vfsb and no post. Possibly a cpu fsb wall as I have a 200fsb default cpu.

Might strip it down and take the crazy cool off tomorrow to fit my xp-120; maybe bend a few northbridge fins in the process. Ill try a cpu fsb mod if Ive got some conductive ink left.

Any program to monitor Mch and Vfsb voltage? I can see vcore, vdimm (easy tune center) not much else. I cant see what values the mobo sets when I set it to the auto overclock voltages and there is no voltage monitor in bios. All I know is that vcore is set to 1.4v when engaging auto overclock voltages.

525MHz is a hard limit for me, too...I think there may be more to this than just a CPU FSB wall.
