There was no funds for that unit for more than 3 weeks. Hope that situation will change.

I'm pretty sure its Symphy who doesnt have the funds, or hasnt supplied them to Luke. He probably did the unit on a preliminary deposit, and now requires a bit more of the final total to finish the unit. Gotta happen most likely with something as advanced as this.

    Exacly NoL.

but I`ve done some work on that unit for those weeks. I changed compressor on ST2 to something much bigger, played with ST2 captube, now ST2 should hold load at -105C - -100C.

Whay happens if you can't get build to worrk????? I always recommend 50/50 so each side has leverage.

do you mail 2000.00 box of parts with note "sorry could not do as promised"???? then subtract your labor out of it for experminting... where is your part of the risk in this business venture...there are limits, I beem warning people and no one listens, guess it will make news when e get a picture of someone doing the perk walk.

Luke what makes you think you cn practice on someone eleses dime. I warne dagainst this. You can take on jobs just because you tink you can build them ,you must know and have done is previously, or certifify the calculations.

Im sure he hasnt taken Symphy's money and used it to try and put an idea into practice. I havent been here long, but I dont think anyone here would take $xxxx from someone to experiment and maybe produce a working unit. I think Luke knows what hes doing and knows how to troubleshoot when something doesnt work as planned.

    Have faith.

I think the current thing is Symphy DID NOT provide the money, and has since dissapeared. So Luke cannot finish the build until the buyer comes back into contact and can actually pay for the rest of the unit. (Why should he drop money into a build to finish it if the buyer won't pay up in the end)

A great working unit can always be sold, and since h has already received part of the money his investment will be fine,as long he completes what he promisied.

In small business others don't usually give you start up cash, you use your own since you have confidance that the product you have works correctly and sells.

maybee if like showed a fully fuctioning unit to sympohey specs, if he doesn't pay ,he should have no problem selling a state of the art unit.

It doesnt work that way Walt.
If someone comes up to you, and lets say you could, and says they'll pay you 50% now and 50% at the end for a unit that could condense helium at exactly .183288381881 Liters per hour. So you build it, use up alot of that 50% and some of your own. Its an amazing machine when done, and the buyer dissapears. You think your going to easily find a buyer simply because its a state of the art machine? Good luck.
It just doesnt work that way. Maybe with single stages, not with cascades.

Will this be finished at some point? it seems lots of troubles have arised, everybody is talkign about it never going to work? and this is weird... i just joined, and so far jinu has disapeared, and now syphony... worst case scenario, wasn't luke goign to deliver the cascade to syphony in person? so it can't be that far, why doesn't he drive down to his house and be like man wtf?

yes easy to find when you have a signeg contract and if not of age 18 sign with his/her parents with all relavent data exchanged, noob please don't lecture on how to do business, they way its been done has failed awfully, I could even guess a number there is so muck....... in fact builder should build display model to shoe he can do what he says. then if a customer wants custom unit sign a legal contract.

do you thick this is so hard only a handfull of people in the world can build it???? you guys must, every country uses refrigeration and has expets in the feild.

Oh this was going to work, its just one of those crazy contraptions with hundreds of variables so tuning can take a while. He originally managed to have the unit almost ready within a few weeks which is incredible.

Sorry Walt to seem like I'm lecturing, but there certainly is not a huge market for autocascades or cascades within the computer community for such a specific purpose. Its just not so simple as, oh just finish it up and then sell it to someone else.

What Luke is building is far from being considered normal, the market for multi-stage cascades isn't that big and not many people take benching serious enough to be willing to drop a few grand on a cooling solution. That being said, usually a person doesn't just run off after dropping half the cost on a unit, hopefully Symphy is alive, well, and busy rather than the alternatives.

After talking with Luke I think the problem resides in that he put alot of his own cash into this unit, so is broke. I would backburner this though, he'll post updates when he can.

I do invest, I do put up capital. But if I were to take 50% on a unit, and use up the 50% and then some (like every unit) I expect the buyer to be able to pay when the units done.

I`m here. Not dissapeared, no way for that guys.

This system is currently finished, I`m only fighting with one small leak on ST3, and can`t find it for few days. I`ve got money rest of money from Symphy few days ago, payed all debts.

Cruise and two other persons auto-c are already done, new revision, only need to be calibrated and I can ship them. While building that cascade I had to build three other units. I`m almost everyday working on this 3 stager, with charge, to make it running on 110%.

I`ve got problems with geting digicam, hope my ex-gf will borrow it for few hours in next few days. I hope.

I have to find that small leak, I`m really pissed on it. Where it is ! Gosh...

I`ve got almost end of school semester, really a lot of learning to pass to next class, everything will be ok after 10 of june. Now only a bit small amount of time to do everything in one time. I`ve got very, very hard march/april/may, problems with my fiance (we broke up) and family problems.

and I`ll never dissapear and stole someone`s money. Please never talk about me in that way.

I love phase and I`m putting a small piece of my heart to all builded units, doesn`t matter how ugly they are. Never will tell lies.

So sorry to hear that Luke. She looked like quite a catch. Hope you two are on good terms.
