Looking good. Are those parts made out of brass or what is that?

When will they be available? Where can we get them in NA?

I believe they are copper with nickle flash...they were supposed to make a pwm for the IN9 32X-MAX. Dunno if they ever did...
When it's good it's really good...And when it's bad I go to pieces...

the IN9/Quad GT block is up on the Mips site, however the block shown above is not. Will probably require some kind of adaptor to use 1/2 ID tubing too..

Sry, I've no information about a release date or anything else.

But I think they will be avaible very soon, about two weeks. I think that they'll cost about ~40$ per freezer.

    Question

I got my DFI 680i the other day and have so far run into the following issues that maybe someone else has worked around:

    1. The board gets very unhappy when I mount my Areca ARC-1220 in the 2nd PCIe x16 slot (8800GTX in the first) and seems to simply power cycle repeatedly when turned on. I had to move the controller down to the 3rd PCIe x16 slot, but there is virtually no airflow down there so it gets very hot even with an active cooler - not good.

    2. My hopes and dreams to re-use my Lian-Li V2100B Plus for this project evaporated after I realized that the Enzotech Ultra-X cooler extends past the edge of the board and therefore collides with the hd/psu separator in the V2100. I was confined to using my old P180 which is insanely cramped.

VirtualRain - I know you've used your ARC-1210 on this board, but I couldn't see any photos on your blog of which slot you had it in. Was it the 3rd slot also?

Any thoughts on the Areca reboot cycle would be much appreciated guys - thanks!

Unfortunately, I still need my old rig to be operational for work which is where my Areca card is... so I haven't had a chance to test it on the DFI board. Once all my cooling stuff arrives, I'll make the cut-over with the Areca.

You should post this issue over on DFI Club Forums to see what they say. I know that the middle PEG slot is intended for SLI graphics so perhaps the Southbridge gets unhappy whenever there is something other than a graphics card in that slot. The third slot near the edge of the board is the proper slot and the one I will be using.

Probably dead on. It's doubtful the second slot was ever intended for anything other then graphics acceleration.

It just came out here in Canada at 335$ (cdn)

With P35 coming around the corner, why 680 mobo's are still not dropping in price

I want a drop in prices like DDR2
