try a higher multiplyer, a good fsb is good but if you can get a good fsb and a high multi. it's even better

no, L12 mod makes a 266fsb cpu look like a 333fsb or 400fsb cpu to the mainboard.

nf2 a1 a2 and a3 chipset likes 266fsb cpus, the nf2 c1 chipset ikes 333fsb chips more. i could only get 200fsb with my xp1700+ before i did the L12 mod, after it i could get 210/215dc (with default vdd of 1.6v)

right now im running 245dc with 1.75v vdd (not primestable)
250 works as well, but my khx wont run 250 no matter what voltage or timings... i tried 3.6v... nothing

something that helped me a lot in ocing to higher fsb speeds was modding my psu! up the 3.3v to around 3.5v+ and the 5v to around 5.5v. im running 14v/5.7v/3.7v but less is enough as well i think

I'd like a higher multi too, but I don't want to pump too much more voltage into this chip until I get a SF2 for the SK-7. I think I'll just wait until I get a Barton 2500+ before increasing the clock higher.

    Why isn't there a multi of 9?

    Say what?????
    A1 NB chips like 266fsb CPU's???
    Are you sure mate?
    I thought all rev 2.0 boards liked 333fsb CPU's...
    Am i wrong?
I have a NF7-S rev 2.0 with 0311 A1 NB, are you saying this board doesn't like my Barton??
If that's true, i'll try my XP2100+ tomorrow first thing!!
