Thanks for the 1M runs. As I said in another thread I am going to compare some more benchmarks. May have to wait for the X38.
Here is a shot of mine at 9x400. CPU-Z only shows a 6 multi.

Beware of buying from overclockers.co.uk, they will swindle you by abusing the consumer law if they need to refund you for faulty hardware. Thieving gits
Try this one.
That dosen't make sense...your CPU is 2.4Ghz with a 400FSB, yet my CPU is running 3.4GHz with a 425FBS?.....so how is your 1MB time faster then mine?????
My memory is running 1:1 with 4-4-4-12-2T timings, 850MHz...it dosen't make sense.

Wait...you're using Windows XP...maybe thats the reason?

Maybe SuperPi is designed to run on XP and not Vista.

CPUZ was wrong. I had to turn off some things in bios. This is what it should be.
very nice boards.
i still like gigabyte. they put out somenice stuff.
I just recently moved to ddr2! on my gaming rig, so i'll be waiting a while to jump on the ddr3 bandwagon.
looks promising

Mine is an Abit AW9D MAX. I am just trying to compare some numbers. I had thought about getting one of these Gigabyte boards, but may wait.
But in general terms, is SuperPi know to show slower times on Vista as opposed to XP?

Bingo says that GB should issue another bios soon that has even more memory tweaks, straps and what not.

I have to set 1.5 in bios to be stable. Not sure if it the board or the cpu.
I hope they do that real quick, my P35-DQ6 won't boot with anything but SPD on my Corsair Dominators. However booting at 4:5 @ 9x400Mhz I can do a bit of ram tweaking only at this setting which is odd but really, it should be better than this for an enthusiasts board. This is with F4 bios.

Signature? are you kidding? with new stuff coming out every day, why bother ?
This is the highest so far with early bios F4 and Intel beta chipset drivers using E6600 for dual 32mb superpi but the crappy SPD ram timings are something else...![]()

Just a little something I thought I should share with people. The Dangerden 775 RBX block does not clear the caps on the Gigabyte P35-DQ6. You need to file a tiny amount of the copper away from the edge of the waterblock to get suitable clearence. Only takes about five minutes careful filing to do.
I should be up and running in the next couple of days, just waiting for the waterblock for my X1950XTX.![]()

If bios updates help it out that will be good. Maybe we need to compare some other benchmarks.
Another one bearlake choice 4 me...![]()
