Any news on ATI opening crossfire for any dual PCI-E mobo (I heard rumors about this, so I'm crossing my fingers so I can use my SLI mobo with two of these R600 babies

new x2900 driver OUT , they talk about + 10%-30% performence

It's Beta 2 release, the driver has a lot of issues with it, especially in CrossFire or OpenGL mode under Vista, also image quality has not been tuned yet. While the cards performance will improve with driver enhancements, beware of incredible jumps in scores from early betas where IQ is not dialed in yet. The official 8.38 release is expected to be around 5/23.

Theres like a 1ghz cpu clock difference between those 06 runs...

Edit: I just noticed it was a ES, those drop multi to 6 in Idle don't they?
