I donīt mind the board but I would like to have that chip
The best chip I have does 570FSB - 575FSB, nothing more.

And I have tested tons of chips thru...

    Excellent job anyways.

    Very nice time.

This might be a dumb question, but what strap was that on? The speediness makes me think it must be 1066, but the FSB is indeed very high...

But if the strap changes auto, like P5B-D in some FSB? i think 590 at 1066strap is imposible, and is on air and no vmod?! Or the mobo is crazy and DFI ruleszz
    What for stability?

After playing with the DFI, I'm really starting to wonder about strap changes in other boards.

On the DFI, if you don't turn on memory enhancements, it behaves pretty much the same. Comparing 500fsb between dfi and p5b, they get same results in mbench pretty much (latency and bandwidth testing). However, turn on the enhancements to fast, and now they blow the p5b away. Latency is about the same as 400fsb 4:5 for 500. So it may very well just be a change in latencies other than strap that's being done.

that said, dfi does take ink modded cpu's to run 333strap. rebelshaven does have a modded bios, but the new strap doesn't seem to work with 266fsb cpu's. that said, there is indeed a 250strap though that is said to work, and I'm hoping to try it tomorrow or soon, to experiment with the new ram dividers. That said, I don't know if it's real or not, but if so: 15:16, 3:4, 5:8 would be the dividers to get 233, 333, and 400. Hmm... I'm a bit skeptical. It would be nice to have 3:4 on a higher strap than 200 though
