Chartered will be the most likely candidate.First shipments will come from AMD in Q2 '08 probably(at the earliest)

Fast computers breed slow, lazy programmers
The price of reliability is the pursuit of the utmost simplicity. It is a price which the very rich find most hard to pay.

Modern Ram, makes an old overclocker miss BH-5 and the fun it was

First 45 nm processors are expected to be commercially available by mid of 2008
Here's an idea, straight to 45 nm, and skip K10
    yep, that'll do

Chartered. Remember my couple of posts mentioning their expansion of Module B. The speed at which the contractors were buidling it was astouding. By now the OHTs (Overhead Tranporters) are fully functional and almost 3/4 of the equipment needed would at be their allocated locations. Chartered/AMD is serious about 45nm production and its no surprise that AMD is Chartered's biggest customer. I wouldnt be surprised if AMD was funding the expediting of Module B.....

According to Chartered they will have a 45nm fab ready by Q3 2007 for genenral prod. For low power on Q1 2007, but that is distant from working CPU samples ready to market
