    Ah, never mind then.

Price is taking the piss too, £30 more than Novatech just to get it a few days early, I'll pass.

Plus then at least if it doesn't work I can take it back to Novatech direct rather than deal with OcUK's piss poor RMA department.

nice information! Thanks! Guess cas3 gains really don't compare with cas4-5 difference. Figure I'll probably be sticking with 4 and ramping further on clocks instead. Good find though . Anyone with strap info?

quad results? my quads here are ready for that board ...

I am not buying any i965 boards, i'm saving up for the p3x and x38 series chipsets. No sense buying another i965-based when the newer chipsets are just knocking at your door

Not sure what to make of those mosfets on the back. As with my Commando board, what's the point of cooling the mosfets with heatsinks if ASUS 'forgets' one bank?

Air does a lousy job of conducting heat. So, unless those mosfets touch the motherboard tray (which I sincerely hope they won't), I can't quite see where their cooling is supposed to come from -- not to mention the questionable lack of airflow at the other side of the board.

P.S. Nice touch with the Inara avatar. :)
