Great set, newegg has the NON-LED Tracers for $135 <---- WOW!!!

Can someone post some subtimings at those high 5-5-5-15 fsbs, I'm curious how these will compare to my GSkills @ 4-4-4-5.

    Thanks!

OZZIMARK, I've got a question from a newbie about ram overclocking; how do you know what timings to try; even when I know what each timing stands for (what the numbers change), I still have no idea which "combinations" to try. Is there any software or guide that might explain this. I'm going to try and overclock regular (gmh?) Crucial pc2-6400.

try different settings. if it has a positive impact on stability, what you changed to is good. if negative, it's bad. if no change but better performance, good. and again, the converse is bad

from there it's really just guess and check

Can someone with these sticks post some Everest bandwidth benches starting at like 450 cas 3 to 620 cas 5 every 50mhz. Please.

    Thanks!

just curious, why exactly do you want that? at given settings, performance is more dependant upon the motherboard than the ram itself

Very true! Are you running them on a 680i board? If so can you post....

    Thx

Thanks, I will be ordering some tonight. These will end up costing me $20 less than the 1gig of gskill ram I'm using now. I can't wait to have some low voltage/high clocking memory. I think I hurt my gskill when I put 2.5v through it to get to 1250mhz. Now they are stuck at my timings in my sig.

Nice results. I'll see what these can do on my 650i board as well as my 965p board. I'm limited to 2.37v on my 965 board so my results will be somewhat limited. However, I can go up to 2.53v on my 650i board so we will be able to see if these like nvidia chipsets or intel. I can't wait. This will give me a reason to use my S3 again.

Ordered mine tonight. I will have to get that rebate in the mail quick tomorrow. I will finally have 2 gig of memory. I remember when 1 gig was overkill...

Ughhh.....what a great price for some memory! I dont know weather I should pick up a pair to replace my gskills or not.

I want something able to run on a 680i with tight timings @ 500 or greater!

with 2.81v set in the bios...
    http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=193365

too bad i seem to have hit a wall of sorts, 2.9v didn't really help at all... though i think there is still some room for tweaking drive strengths

    CAS5 is easy 2.350v -

CAS4 not so easy for me 2.500v -

Now I just need to tweak and I might find a decent time

    NEVER

messing around with looser timings before, i was able to boot into windows at 6-6-5, 570mhz with 1.8v. but my memory controller was freaking out and weird things were happening.
