Nice work making a slow card fast. I always feel like applauding anyone who spends the time to do these kind of projects regardless of what they are overclocking.

Poor 6600GT. But I am sure a lot of fun.

But that has got to be the most ghetto setup I have seen. Seriously, not bothering to take out a video card from the loop.. just randomly attached LOL.

40.6k for 2001 is an excellent score indeed. Very nice work.

Thx guys and yes it was a lot of fun
I will try to give it more volts next time and get more DIce (i had only 3 Lbs this time ) , hopefuly it will go higher - i think 850MHz is possible Too bad RAM is Hynix and wont respond to more volts , at those core clocks she gets bandwidth starved I got one more 6600GT (the one Ahmad mentioned ) so i will probably try to SLI them soon with DI containers on both of them .

Btw , zakelwe what happend to your 21.5K score with 6600GT SLI that was on the HwBot ? I just noticed it dissapeared

    Love the bucket reservoir.

Give some more volts to that core.

Yeah that's nice results for sure, nice to see 800MHz core cracked! You only have +3.9fps on me in '01 nature though, what LOD did you use?

    Hi,

As massman says I deleted my scores because it came apparent to me that the way hwbot judges merit is not the way I think this sort of benching ( mid range or odler cards ) should be judged. FM Orb with it's class system does provide that better in my opinion.

My best benching session recently was with 7300GT but that got way fewer points than the 7900GS which I just stuck in out of interest as they are my gaming cards. That did not seem right to me.

It's just a personal viewpoint of mine, no reflection on hwbot. If they took away the Orb I would post at hwbot for the rankings, but as the ORB is still going I will just post there.

    Regards
    Andy

Thx for the pointing at that - my 3d01 Nature score looks low indeed
I haven't had much time to tweak that card , just a quick test to see how she goes with DI cooling - next time i will try to tweak it better
LOD was +3.0 for all test , now i am thinking ... may be she likes more ?
Any other tweaks you guys can suggest for that card ?

zakelwe I see what you mean - hope you maybe change your mind later

How does driver 66.81 perform in 2001, does nature drop out or do you get a boost in the other tests that compensates ? 71.89 was always a good driver for 6600GT as well.

Also, try LOD 10 for dragothic low, any change?

    Regards

    Andy

    Evil Gorod :-D

Now all setup is disassembled, back to 8800, but in some near future I will find my second phase unit in my messy room, and we will see what C2D 4.4GHz can deal with 6600GT @ ~750\1400 :P

BTW, thanks for insulation ink and armaflex, they are just GREAT. Maybe will need some new HW (DFI 680 , so i can rely on you again, yeah?
