    CPUs almost never die... they die from bad manipulations such as bad ihs removal or uncontrolled voltage feeding

    Even if they provided 10 years of warranty on them, they wouldn't get any more valid RMAs, or almost none.

    ANd warranty was already void because he didn't use stock cooler. And engineering samples don't have warranty at all.
