Tempted to grab some of this ram but guys with P5B Deluxe board how high can they go super pi 32M with such tight sub timings

The 8500 should do better than the 8000's now as they have replaced them as Crucial's highest bin.

However, one thing I should mention is that from my own experience with two sets of PC8000 Ballistix on my P5B, I could not run timings as tight as I could on my Cellshock's or my OCZ sticks. Probably just the sticks I had being picky, but I figured I'd mention it. irev would know best though as he's had more sets of Ballistix than there are members on this board.

Yeh I know what you mean, I used my socketA Danger Den maze 4 block on my socket 754 and 939 amd now I have it on my 775 core2 duo board. That block has been with me for 6 years, each time I find a way to mod it to the new board.

I think i killed my commando the other day, having issues with it... delaying benchmarks

not to give too much away, but i can do over 600MHz 1M pi stable w/ 2.45

probably dual 32m pi stable at 600ish

4000+ now, but yeah. and i just gained like 40mhz by switching to trp 4. very curious

I told ya the 8500 Ballistix are the best sticks out! They are binned for 1.8ns, vs 2.0ns on the 8000's.

for AM2, it seems to depend on the bench being run. Some things, 4-4-3 is faster, some things 4-4-4 is faster. 4-4-4 is faster all around with 1T last time I checked.

My 6400 is clocking well, have only had it a couple of days, so far I'm at 600Mhz 5,4,4,12. And the best thing is that it was realy cheap.
