Damn... sorry to hear about the RAM This is why I'm scared to set my memory voltages over 2.20 or so.

On another note got a couple more screen shots of my OC results:

8 hours Orthos @ 3.42GHz (no air con):

    SuperPi:

I don't really follow SuperPi times much... is 15m 6s a good time for 32M?

interesting. blue slots are 1 and 3, right?

when my 1 stick of 10th anniversary died, it died in slot 3. the mem module no longer even showed up when installed (only showed 1 gig instead of 2).

since then, i've only used slots 2 and 4 and have not had any problems.

from what I have heard it seems slot 3 was a big culprit for this for some odd reason....it seemed to occur more often with vdmm of 2.3-2.4...as if the board was overvolt in surge fashion or something( i did see if I recall in the thread some have a stick die even at 2.2v in slot3)

what i find so concerning is the number of manufacturers saying 2.4v is ok on these D9 chips and yet so many are dying on different mobos

I saw OCZ changed there vdmm max on there memory recently with regards to warranty...no longer saying 2.4v is OK

I was running around 2.24 when my stick died.

The board also overvolts by about 0.03 volts on the vdimm as I've measured this with a DMM. I wonder if the vdimm voltage surges on startup. I've found that the vdimm on the asus p5n32-e sli plus goes up about +0.05 volts on startup.

sry i havent made x64 version
edit: when my main system gets back up ill look into adding an x64 version
edit again: vista(/xp?) x64 requires signed drivers not sure if ms has to be the "signee"

QX6700 @ 3.3 GHz, 330 (x10) FSB with 1.3625 vCore set in BIOS on air cooling.
FSB voltage is lowest possible setting in BIOS (1.2v I think).
MCH voltage is lowest possible setting in BIOS (1.5v I think).

Prime95 with all four cores running small fft gets to about 70C after 24 hours of stressing it in typical indoor temps. So far have stressed it for 24 hours of small fft and 24 hours of blend with no errors.

Memory is 4 gig Mushkin 8500.
running 4:5, 825 with timings 4/4/4/12 and vDIMM of 2v.

    Signature updated...I think.

I suspect I can get more out of the memory if I want to push it but I don't see much need atm.

    Not bad for a 24/7 air set-up.

Can't get it to high FSB and stable no matter what I do. Interestingly I booted into 401 FSB on my P5WDG2 WS Pro by mistake with the QX6700 and it posted no problem, though I am sure Windows would have been impossible.
Holy crap, this is exactly what I have. I'm not pushing the FSB any, everything besides vDIMM is stock. I'm trying to get it stable with 532MHz/DDR2 @ 1066MHz 5-4-4-12 2T. (200 ref freq 800 mem freq)

I'm trying each vDIMM from 1.84 on up. So far I'm at 2.16 and Memtest86+ v1.70 keeps bombing out at different addresses.

damn wish I had some great idea as to how to offer, help

obviously you have flashed various Bios versions....only thing other thought did you plug in the 4 pin molex near the NB..maybe this will help stablize the setup???

    Could be a bad board....
Darn it, i cant get stable at 410fsb as ive just testet, 1,55-1,575 failed in prime by freezing up win after a few minutes....

    Powerslobe on.

    1,700 Vmch
    1,450 Vfsb
1,525 Vcore (testing it now at 400fsb)
    2,2V for the mems

I found out why the freezing in the bios occurs, it was my wireless logitech, when i plug in a usb keyboard i could get back again...

Havnt try'd the molex, but i was always told its only for gfx requirements, but ill give it a go when im out of options again...

Its a bit sad i need so much Vcore to get stable again at 400fsb on this board, but to hell with it if i get the last mhz i want it can burn in hell, intel dropped thier prices this week, so ill get a E6600 and see if i can have some more luck here...

I agree the gfx molex probably would do nothing but you never know it may add some strange stabiltiy

I plugged mine in from the get go...I have a 1900xt cf(single card) with pcie plugged in of course too

Are you OCing the 1900xtx in only 3D..I use ATI tool and set 2D clocks at default and 3D 675/800...not the great OC but not bad..very stable

anyone try the vmch mod for this board yet?

i'd really like to push the FSB on this board but i appear to be limited by the measely 1.7 vmch (aw9d-max gives you 2.0).

i can do 3.8 ghz stable smallfft at 423 but can't blend test. i am assuming this has to be the result of not enough vmch at 423 (though ram is very capable).

it'd be fun to push this thing to 450+

Could be failing if you're trying to install or run IDCC after running RMClock or any other similar utility. Flat out refuses to load for me if I've already ran (and closed) any of those types of utilities.

Take that stuff out of startup and freshboot and it should go in OK..

So i just setup the rest of my system, it consists of the following:

    E6600
    BadAxe2
    4 GB Gskill PC8000HZ
    4 Raptors
    X800XL
    Zippy700w

I have tried 2 different PCI videocards and borrowed a WORKING x800XL from a friend and i get no signal on the monitor. Is the board dead? This is my first time trying to post. All other rigs in the house are ddr and 478 so i cant really swap and try. Any ideas? I have also tried clearing the cmos with no luck, i really hope the board isnt dead, dont want to RMA it as microcenter only allows exchanged for like 2 weeks or something
