    Not sure what chips these have, seem to be a relatively new model from G.Skill.

    i've never seen that kind of heatspreaders before on GSkill memory. they must be the new model.
    to bad, i liked the old ones. they look vintage

    @ G. SKill Technician, so are you guaranteeing that these sticks have micron based chips (D9GMH OR D9GKX) & not promos or elipias?

    I wish they did have ProMOS at that bin. That'd be some awesome ProMOS, as opposed to average Micron.

    I have a soft spot for ProMOS. I'm still using the G.Skill HK's I reviewed a few months back for 24/7. They run all day at 1000MHz 4-4-3-5 2.3v really cool.

    It was exaclty your review Enjoy that made me wonder about these modules, I was sure they were Promos like yours but I guess not? Well guarenteed GMH/GKX for $199, very good deal guys! I don't suppose these modules are taking over for the F2-8500PHU2-2GBHZs G.S. Technician?

    im guessing they are a middle ground between the two HZ's


    Ill be testing a kit tomorrow and report back

    I finally have some free time in my schedule, so I plan to test lots of ram

    Your not the only one with some free-time coming, I have finals next week and then all I have to do this summer is work, I can't wait! I'll finally be able to put as much time into testing as I'd like to!
