No way, there are more manufactures then Micron, Samsung, Qimonda, Elpida, Powerchips and Hynix... it is just another one. Or a relabeld new chip from one of the list.

hehe there is definetly more... but you know why those are the popular ones? Because they actually are the best or more cost efficient... It's either a new manu or a new chip... Only one I can't really say that it's not is Qimonda... never played or saw those before myself...

Compared with all the chips I have here... Nada...

And I searched quite a bit for every IC picture I could get of DDR2... Nada.... ...

    Anyone else has an idea?

It really takes only a few of moments with google to gather the bits and pieces.
The "E" being Elpida as the chip manufacturer was confirmed by OCZ staff...

    Hi!

Can anybody help me? I have 4 Gb Flex XLC 800 Mhz CL3 memory on a P5B deluxe mobo... I can not go beyond 4-4-4-15 and sub timings from memset 3.2 : 4-35-2-12-12-12-10-12-4 and 906 Mhz in 1:1...And the most important that these results I can made only with 2,35 Volt VDIMM!!!! I don't know whats the problem is....

In the BIOS i tried everything, disable memory remapping, adjust static read control, adjust sub timings etc, higher NB+SB+ICH chipset voltage.... but nothing helped...

Before theses moduls I had 2 Gb micron d9 (teamgroup) and with those memorys I can easily go beyond 1000+ Mhz... With these moduls now I can not hit 5-5-5-18 the 1000Mhz (

P.S: the moduls are now in a watercooling rig, with 31C water temperature...

    Well could be 1 of 4 things. . .

    1) Your settings, maybe not exactly right within the bios.
    2) The P5B memory controller cant handle the same settings as the 680i chipset.
    3) The P5B isnt good enough to cope with the same settings as the 680i motherboard.
    4) The OCZ PC2-6400 Flex XLC CAS 3 used in the original test are better than the ones you have, I dont like using the word cherry picked besides no one can prove that.

3 and 4 are very likely.
    5) Also handing 4 modules is more demanding than 2.

    The problem is:

When I lowered the VDIMM from 2,35 to 2,25V then the system freeze... That could be only the memory problem... When I raised the NB voltage I can not reach higher clocks....

    About point 2:

Some people can reach Cl 4 1100 Mhz on P5B with 1,55 NB voltage...I couldn't do 920 Mhz with 1,65 and the NB is watercooled...

    About point 3:

I tried a lot of timings... Not exactly the same as OCZRyder... That coudn't be the problem....

    About 4:

Cl4 1066 Mhz with 2,3 volt in the most tests easily , with good sub timings...My setup can with 2,35 volt 906Mhz with the worst sub timings and Cl5 950 can only do with 2,4Volt... So much difference couldn't be in a serie...

    I've got the truth!

I tried with 2 DIMM's so only 2048 MB... The mobo didn't boot with Cl4-4-4-16 on 1000 Mhz and VDIMM 2,4 Volt... Myold Micron D9 in this mobo easily did Cl4-4-4-12 1000 Mhz with 2,25 Volt and thats was 2048 MB too...
    I'm disappointed...

These companies that will not let their chip OEM distribution be known will not get any of my money. Remarking and hiding the manufacturer does not do it for me on any platform.

These are definitely not Micron which has been stated, hence the x-x-x-16-18

I'm sorry, but I am not at all impressed with this performance for $300.00

    Hi!

Mobo: P5B Deluxe with te newest BIOS 1101
    PSU: Silentmaxx 500 Watt Watercooled
    CPU: E6300@3200 Mhz 1,4V
    and o course Mem 4 * 1GB Flex XLC Cl3

I found a new review from the net and they reached the same level with this memos like I:

    http://www.technic3d.com/?site=artic...icle&a=477&p=1

And they use Asus Commando...Is something wrong with this memos with Asus boards or P965??? Has OCZ tested this moduls with P965 mobos, and what results?
