    @Chosen
    I have a QX6700 and they tend to be more picky
    sorry man hadn't read your siggy. Makes great reading too, hope u keep it up 2 date. will check it out next time i change mobos

    I can monitor my pump's rpm
    nice 1

    @oqvist
    Must admit 1 of the 1st things i checked when i fitted my loop a couple of weeks back was the buzzing/whistling, thought air cooling might have masked it, but i'm ok

    CPU TM function : disable it

    all your voltages are quite high FSB VTT, NB, SB PCI, have you tried having them all lower than that

    run them all lowest except NB at 1.3 to 1.4 maybe ?

    Try on 1:1 1st then if that proives to be stable you kmow to focus on memory timings/volts to get to 4:5

    i'm @1.55vcore for 3600(9x400) other than vdimm all other volts are auto.
    you might try write to precharge at 12 if stilll struggling

    luck

    Hope watercooling helps then lol.

    btw have anyone been successful with running AHCI mode on the hard drives? Would like to test it because the IDE performance is really craptacular with this board at times...

    Got this with 1.6V Vcore and 1.55V in the NB (suicide screenshot )
    Finished Wprime 32M at 3950 and Cinebench at 3850.
    Getting pretty hot under the hood atm, so I think I will continue my search for the QX's limits, in a colder night...

    This is a great board overall, feels like it's made of cement. Stability-wise, I can only compare it with my XBX2 & AW9D, but performance-wise it just cannot be matched, by any of the boards that I owned (in my sig)

    any reason why other than frying it 2.3~2.5v maybe but mid 3v???

    This mobo is great for oc-ing your ram.I overclocked my cellshock c5 at 1290 cas4@2.95v and 1070 cas3@3.15v.If i set my timings at cas5 the score is even lower

    Thank you a million times for catching that. I meant 2.28-2.35v. I was thinking "mid" 2.3v which = 2.35v. I was watching UFC crap when I posted. Must have caught a stray kick in head

    You could try small FFT and then large FFT. If you hold the small test and fail large that could = ram.

    All I tell can you is my ram can run low speed relaxed timings on relatively low voltage and when I go high speed tighter timings I have to ramp up the voltage. Orthos definitely needs more voltage to be stable.

    IMO you shouldn't be failing Orthos on 2.2v @ DDR2 800 4-4-4-12 and I don't believe testing @ anywhere from 2.24v to 2.35v is going to kill peformance ram. Personally, I wouldn't go over 2.5v and would use active cooling post 2.4v.
