    Good tests. both part 1 and 2.. :-)

    although,

    Setting the tRAS to 4 isnt smart. The timing has to complete two cycles because it ends/closes too fast. This might be screwing with the results.
    tRAS should in this case be minimum 6. Sry to say it :-/
    tRAS should not be lower than tCL+tRCD.

    The low tRC on 680i might be hurting performance too. Not sure though. Dont let tRC lower than tRAS+tRP.

    It's not hurting performance

    There's a 3rd part covering more stuff

    And fast close doesn't occur every time

    tRC = tRAS + tRP
