Great job man, well done! I was just thinking the other day if anyone had successfully pulled the IHS off of a C2D yet, well now I know! You are the first person I know who has done this successfully although there is a good chance someone else already did it?
By the way, although I read through the thread I'm still wondering how you were able to push the CPU into the socket (so that BSEL pads would make proper contact with socket pins)? I would assume that the force of mounting the heatsink was enough to properly push the CPU down into the socket? Thansk for your help and once again, great job!
