I put this in overclocking because I wanted to discuss the ram, not the deal. The deal is basically pay 89.99 out the door and get that down to 57.99 after rebates. $58 is damn good IMO for 512mb of Hynix 4.3ns ram. This doesn't apply to our forieng members (IIRC members in the USA may even be a minority here!) since this is at circuit city B&M.
Opinions? I bought a stick and im priming at 200 7-3-3-2.5 (had a cpu problem and im just now starting to OC again) but others are claiming up to 240 8-4-4-3 at stock voltages. Wasn't there some deal where hynix ram was severly taxed if imported? And how in the world is this turning up on budget pc2700?
Anyone else have experience with these chips? The markings are:
Hynix 329A
HY5DU56822AT - D43

!) since this is at circuit city B&M.

I guess it's a gamble but a small one if you buy from somewhere like circuit city that has a no hassle return policy. Still over 200mhz from all the reports that I've heard, but nothing great except one guy claiming 240 and a couple saying 220's IIRC. In my book any 512mb stick that can do 200mhz+ for this price is worth it.
