got my email from William yesterday and the board will arrive 4-11-07 via fedex ground. I am happy to get this board but 2-3 day shipping via USPS is less than $9, I paid $15.15 for fedex ground. Oh well, can't wait to get my grubby hands on this board

Anybody know when this will hit Europe?, I just can't wait damn it! Not that it actually matters though as I won't have a CPU for it until after Intel price cuts. The waiting game is hard.

500fsb 1m @ spd timings, in fast mode (set in dram timing page)..
higher multilpier with lower chipset latency gives similar if not better results, but this should let you guys who have lower multi locked cpu's know that it is possible to hit 500fsb for 1m, I will try for 32m too later..

Is this on a stock retail board Raju ?
Nice you are testing this one, you like it more than ya Striker ?
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved
Remark : They call me Pro AsusSaaya yupp, I agree

full retail board, it's less buggy than the Striker I had, all peripheral devices work fine, I checked lan onboard sound etc @ stock before trying any of this 500fsb or overclock stuff. Bios can sometimes hang upon pressing delete to enter, but you can always reset and try again, or using the latest beta hold down the home key, which retains all your settings but brings the fsb back to stock, so you go in and make adjustments without loosing your original timings etc..
here's a single 32m, still @ spd.
I will try for a dual run of 32m next..

speed looks good![]()

ok dual 32m, still @ spd timings, all on auto in bios no ram tweaking, quite fast in dual too at the fsb...

FAST!!!
raju did you need to change any chipset voltages to achieve 500FSB ?

I'm getting ready for the new badboy. Got the latest beta bios on my usb stick ready to go. latest drivers for a fresh install. Looking at the latest bios shots.. ohhhh man. all the options I thought were needed are there!! options to possibly remove cold / warm boot symptoms. looks like it may require some tweaking to get things right, but that's fine

Hi, it's quite surprising that around 1.5vnb set in bios will allow boot and bench upto around ddr1050 at 500fsb, depending upon components and cooling. I did place a small akasa 40mm fan over the stock heatsink, idle is around 30 degrees with load sub 40, bearing in mind the motherboard is on a table top in a very well ventilated room..
Vdimm thus far I have used around 2.35v for the 500fsb stuff, just to keep things conservative. Ram does run a tad hotter on this board due to the increased drive strengths that Oskar is renowned for.
Please bear in mind I have not benched 3d yet @ 500fsb, I will have to wait until I swap out the board into the other rig with a 8800gtx. I will have this board under phase/cascade eventually, just wanted to get some air stuff done so people could get a more realistsic feel of what a good board/ram and cpu can do with DFI's latest offering.
Regards
Raja
